Job Description:
We are looking for enthusiastic and politically aware *Social Media Interns* to support our digital communication and online outreach activities. The intern will assist in managing political social media platforms, creating engaging content, and monitoring public sentiment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and assist in daily posting on social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, X/Twitter, YouTube, WhatsApp, etc.)
* Create political content such as posts, reels, captions, stories, and short videos
* Assist in drafting content for speeches, announcements, and campaigns
* Monitor comments, messages, trends, and public responses
* Research current political issues, local news, and public opinion
* Support digital campaigns, online events, and political promotions
* Maintain content calendars and reporting engagement metrics
* Coordinate with the media and campaign teams when required
Eligibility Criteria:
* Graduate / Pursuing graduation in any stream (Political Science, Mass Communication, Journalism, or related fields preferred)
* Strong interest in politics and current affairs
* Basic knowledge of social media platforms and digital trends
* Good communication skills in Hindi, English, and Punjabi (preferred)
* Creative thinking and willingness to learn
* Ability to work in a fast-paced political environment
Skills Required:
* Content writing and basic design sense
* Video editing or reel-making skills (preferred but not mandatory)
* Understanding of political narratives and audience engagement
* Time management and teamwork skills
